Disaster Response Kits
The Women's Fellowship is again collecting items to make kitchen kits for the NALC Disaster Response. You can help with donations by selecting a card from the "Kitchen Kit" box located on the table in the narthex. Please purchase the items on the card and return to the church by August 9. Reasonably priced items can usually be purchased at Dollar Tree and/or Walmart. If you have any unwanted gently used cookbooks, we will include those in the kitchen kits, also.
Bless This Food!
St. John’s – Vilmar sold their last copy of their cherished, original “Bless This Food” cookbook. The book was first published in 1979. We recently placed another order for the books, and they are printed! Each book is $15.
• Books may also be picked up on any Sunday morning, 9–11 a.m. If you need to set up a special time, please email vilmarchurch@gmail.com. Payment will need to be made beforehand or when they are picked up.
• If you need the books shipped, please send check and note with address to Vilmar Women’s Fellowship, 16073 Keystone Ave., Greene, IA 50636. (Shipping is $5/book. For shipping of multiple copies, please contact the church for the amount; cost will be determined by weight, which is set by the USPS.)
• If you didn’t request a copy – we printed extras! It’s not too late to order!

Check the table in the basement for items for free will donation. These items make great gifts! All money raised will be used by Vilmar Women’s Fellowship for their yearly mission donations.
Sewing Donations
The sewing committee is in need of sheets and lightweight blankets. Donations can be left at the east end of the basement. Thank you!
