There are currently four different Sunday School classes at St. John’s:
Preschool – 2nd Grade; 3rd Grade – 6th Grade (Bible History); Confirmation; and the Adult Class.
The classes meet from 8:45 – 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings during the school year.

Preschool - Second Grade Classes

The class follows their own curriculum including Bible stories, crafts, music, games, and other activities. The children are also part of a youth choir and sing once every other month for the congregation during the worship service.

Bible History Class

The class works their way through the Bible looking at all the different stories and how we can apply them to their everyday lives.
The children are also part of a youth choir and sing once every other month for the congregation during the worship service.

Confirmation Class

The Confirmation class is a two-year long class. They look at the lessons for each Sunday worship and how it is relevant in their everyday lives. They also meet on Wednesday nights from 5:30-7 p.m., during the school year. They start with a supper and then move to the classroom for devotions and lessons, in preparation for being confirmed. They will learn the commandments and creeds.

Adult Class

The adult class follows along and expands their knowledge on the lectionary taught each Sunday during the worship service.
